New Year in gear
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Ringcross Community Centre in Islington.

Goodgym Islington returned to the Ringcross Community Centre Foodbank this evening for our first cycling delivery session of 2021. Steve and Simon were joined by first timers to the task: Marie Laure, Oisin and Louis.
Lindsey, the project coordinator, gave us a pre-prepared list of names and addresses for food bank clients (some who are isolating, others who are looking after children whilst working full-time), and we set about loading our rucksacks and pannier bags with food and essential items. All of these households were within a 2 mile total cycle from the Ringcross Centre, and all of our packing and loading is now done outside.
10 deliveries were made to Islington households tonight- each one of these containing at least 3 full bags of shopping. Wonderful work everyone!
