After a short run down to St Pancras Church (and following a few dodgy warm up exercises in full view of the Euston Road), we set about moving and spreading 3 tonnes of mulch over the Church's borders. We really went for it- impressing the gardener Audrey who said it would have taken her days to do what we managed in just over half an hour. That was partly down to a wheelbarrow race vs manpower race between Andy and Nuala! Special mention must go to Alex, Steve and Mark who managed to shove an immovable(!) concrete log across the gravel courtyard. Great bit of upper body training eh guys. Following the task we broke into 2 groups and run down to Regents Park. One group went on a slightly longer run around the park- covering 4-5k, while the others discovered which of their legs was the best....by doing a few balance and symmetry drills obviously. If we learnt nothing else this evening at least Chandrika now knows which legs the best for kicking! Well done guys.
