Much Ado About Cutting

3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Barnet.

GoodGym were again invited by Suzanne and her team at the Friends of Finchley Way Open Space to assist in their monthly task to improve the gardens. This time, we were tasked with removing ivy and other foliage from around the main gate, to make it more obvious that this was an entrance.

We also created "windows" so passers-by could see the park from the road, by removing leaves and branches above perimeter-fence height in certain areas.

Barnet mascot Florence Jack-Russell also turned up. Sadly she wasn't able to assist very much, but still managed to delight every human in attendance
