Today, I will once again conduct logistical re-supply operations in support of the delightful and grateful Mrs J who is shielding from Covid 19 and the multitude of zombie aliens presently occupying most of the grocery shops. The queue at Sainsbury’s was non-existent. I walked right in, availed myself of the free hand sanitizer and paper towels on a table at the entrance, thinking that only four weeks ago, those items would have cost a mortgage payment at Nythe Corner Shop. Mrs J’s list was simple and specific: Cereal, Cream soda, Ginger beer, Sainsburys complete nutrition dog food in jelly and Sainsburys Taste the Difference dinners... None of that Birdseye slop will do... I gathered her items and was quickly done.... I did ponder the Taste the Difference brand dog food and wondered how they had researched that.... Never Mind.... I turned to Dad’s list. Most of it found on the alcohol aisle.... Well, he’s got to shield and stay disinfected so I suppose it can work from the inside out... President Trump seems to think so ...... I dropped off Mrs J’s items and stayed for ten minutes and had a socially distant chat. She is well, and is very grateful for my efforts... I say it is nothing but that is not quite true. I get a great sense of happiness in being able to help people like her and her gratitude adds much to my enjoyment. I dropped off Dad’s items and once again maintained the distance so as not to add risk. Dad too was grateful... in his own way.....

A great report, Gina, and I'm sure Mrs J appreciated you stopping to talk as well as get her shopping!

What a great report Gina. I know that Mrs J is very grateful for what you are doing. I’m sure she will make a great coach 😉
