As it happened, both GGers were a little early but of course the carer to let us in wasn't quite there yet. So we spend some time catching up awaiting the lovely Jillian.

Guiding us through the building after she got there Jillian explained that the rats & cockroaches had all been exterminated.... which explained some of the smells but also made us wonder what we'd find...

Mr H was waiting and helped clear some bits off the bed. Lifting the mattress there were some indications that the pest problem wasn't quite history yet.... with some cockroach bodies on display. So it wasn't much of a shock when a couple of live ones scuttled along the wall whe we moved the bed bases out of the way.

Apart in three bits the bed was quite easily transported down and outside to the bin area where it will be picked up as arranged by Jillian. Space created for the hospital bed, we said our goodbyes and after a chat with the caretaker we were on our way again, job done,
