Mile Endless weeds

Egg and I started the day at Mile End parkrun where we met follow GG runners Victoria, Hass, Axel, Graham and lots of other friendly faces.

A short walk along the canal, dodging GB athletes in training, took us to our mission.

We were met at the door and shown to the garden where we found a good collection of tools. The patio was already clear but there was a forest extending all the way to the back fence. We made a good start and cleared a whole bunch of weeds and roots from the garden, exposed some lovely soil and loads of juicy worms. There was some balancing on stones to avoid getting my new trainers dirty, made for a good workout!
