Mission

Many happy returns

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.

Mrs P was surprised to see us because it was quite a damp morning but was very happy to have the helpful gardeners return. Susan had done a mission for her previously so the two of them had a catch up and it was really a case of picking up where the previous mission had left off.

We tidied away the garden waste and had a lovely time ripping up the dead flower from the tubs, tipping them out and smashing up the roots to redistribute the soil back in to the flower beds.

Mrs P showed us that the bird house her husband made and the bench he was given for his retirement have both been damaged in the weather so hopefully another GoodGym mission can be set up for some sanding and painting on a dry/ sunny day.
