On a cloudy morning in Lloyd Park, two GoodGymers popped along to support Mind in Croydon with setting up their fourth annual Positive Steps event – a 15km walk around the park to raise sponsorship and awareness for Mind in Croydon.

We split up early on; I began giving a hand setting up the starting area, and putting up some signs for them. While doing this, I had the nice opportunity to work and chat with a couple of the Mind staff and their service users, which gave me a better understanding of their work. Meanwhile, Juliet walked the course; checking the route, and leaving some handy markers to make it nice and clear for everyone later. Luckily Matt from Mind had a map and kept her on the right path otherwise it might have been a much longer walk!

All in all, a successful morning!
