Lose the lights, before Twelfth Night

Mr. D has issues with his sight so whilst he enjoys a high volume and variety of decorations, there are one or two that he needs a bit of help with - in this case the lights from his Xmas tree.

They'd been put up by a GG runner last year (expertly I should say...) and carefully laid along the dresser towards the plug, so it was the work of just a few minutes to carefully get them down again. I put the tree down too (also mains powered) before leaving him to it.
