Living with Macular Degeneration
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Wednesday, 20th of March 2024
At my visit to Mrs E, she was telling me all about how much her life has changed since she has partially lost her sight through macular degeneration. Her apartment is stuffed full of books that she has collected over the years. Sadly she can no longer read these, but still would not be parted from them. I'm pleased to say that despite her challenges, she has still retained her sense of humour!

How sad, but how wonderful that she can still laugh. I’m sure your visit helped too xx
