3 GoodGymers undertook a litter pick this evening on our adopted stretch of canal in Birmingham.

Goodgymers have been making good progress over the last month or so and we continued this effort tonight.

There was a couple of hot spots were we collected most of our rubbish, with this being areas where people tend to have a drink and leave their cans etc.

We filled up about 6 bin liner bags full of rubbish and dropped them off to be picked up and posed for a quick picture.

Amongst our litter picking, it was really nice chatting with Annie and Balal, with our conversations ranging from crime documentaries and the use of swear words to musical instruments and sport.

It took me a while to think of a pun today and so I realised I'm 'litter'ally rubbish at this, but we did help to make the canal look cleaner.

And as a final thought (joke): there is no training required to litter pick... you pick it up as you go along!
