My mission today was a unique one as it didn't involve shopping or pharmacy visits but putting up a new washing line for Ms A.

I was asked to take down three old washing lines and install three new 25 meter ones. Simple.

It started well with the first line, but before you know it I was wrestling with the washing line , getting the second new line all tangled up on itself and tied up with the old lines that were on the floor, this cost me time and tested me. But with patience and a cool head I took a deep breath and sorted it out and was more cautious and careful with the third line.

Ms A came out a few times to check the progress and see if hadn't tied myself up.... again. We had a little chat and I checked to see if she needed anything else. She was a joy and was very happy to have a new washing line up after 22 years. Hopefully this new one will survive just as long and I have faith that it will.
