Mission

Lighting Up the Garden!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Brighton.

Mrs L and the resident's at her accommodation, for the mature Ladies and Gentlemen of Brighton, are used to a visit from some friendly faces of Brighton Goodgymers. Both Tara and I have visited to help out with the gardening before and it is great to see how it is coming along since Brighton Goodgym started visiting.

Mrs L had a whole host of bulbs for us to plant in and around the property's front garden to make a colourful display come May and through the summer months: Dutch Irises, Gladiolus, Begonias and Redhot Pokers (aka Kniphofia) - we're certainly learning a lot about plants and gardening!

Some of the residents popped out to say hello and thank you for helping out; with so much outside space, no doubt Brighton Goodgym will be back soon!
