"LIFE'S A BEACH" Well clearing up one was one of our tasks last night as we headed over to help out our great friends at the 'Danson Centre'. We started the evening with one of my special core busting warm ups. Its was just a small reminded that a strong core is a must for runners and we have to build on it as often as possible. Judging by some of the faces and screams of telling your team mates to 'HURRY UP' you guys probably didn't agree! Now nicely warmed up it was time to run out to our task. We had a nice 3K loop to get round before our arrival. Susan as usual done an awesome job looking after the front runners whilst i look after the back giving a little motivation and on the move running and technique tips. It wasn't long till we were all arriving safely at our destination and being greeted by Joy and the tasks she had ready for us. After a brief safety chat we split ourselves into two teams. One team was working on removing a man made beach, the other team on removing a dead tree, hedge trimming and tidying up fallen apples and rubbish.

The tasks were awesome, we had a certain amount of time to do them in, and we weren't going to be beaten.

The tasks were awesome, we had a certain amount of time to do them in, and we weren't going to be beaten. With the man made beach all packed away it was all hands on deck with the hedge trimming and clearing up. It still amazes me how we all get stuck in and get these jobs done, and done well in the time we have. I really proud to be part of the Goodgym Bexley team. With all the over growth in the car park gone, it was time for our victory photo's goodbyes and our run back to base camp Crooklog. Oh, but not before we've done the Bexley famous 'squat off' in our squat off tunnel. Ha, Ha, a big high five to Charlie for winning this week. It was that time again. Another week finished, another task smashed. I love this part of the evening, we all chat about the job we'd just conquered and whats happening or what we're doing in the week to come Good luck to NEIL who's attending the 'chasing the train' run this weekend. Yep i'm a little jealous. Have fun and i can't wait to hear about it next Monday. TONIGHTS HEROES Kate, Peter, Charlie, Susan, Sarah, Rose, Fedellis, Sean, Neil, Janine and me. SEE YOU NEXT WEEK
