Let the windows see the light

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

We headed off to Oval this morning to start clearing Mr B's garden. We met his neighbour outside who had organised us to come and who had a selection of cutting tools including a battery powered saw!

The job today was to cut two palm bush things that were blocking light from bedroom windows. We hacked away and created an enormous pile of leaves.

The windows then had lots of light and we carried the rubbish out to the front of the house to be picked up in a few days. Mr Bs grandchildren turned up to help us clear up and are excited for us to come back and clear more.
