Mission

Leafy like a Sunday morning

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Greenwich.

Sunday, 12th of November 2017

On a very sunny but chilly Sunday morning, two runners arrived to help tidy Mrs C garden. Mridula - who was on her third mission of the weekend, with another that afternoon - had been previously to tidy the front garden for Mrs C, so I was in good hands, knowing where to find tools and bags for garden waste.

Mrs C wanted us to do a general tidy, removing weeds from paving stones and sweeping up leaves. Mridula grabbed some gloves and tools to remove some stubborn weeds whilst I started to sweep piles of leaves.

It didn't take the two of us too long, so we bagged the weeds and leaves, popped them in the bin and off we ran, or rather walked as Mrs C lived at the bottom of a very steep hill.
