The north wind will blow and, although we had (rubbish) snow, a different form of precipitation brought Good Gym to Frensbury Gradens, namely a huge quantity of fallen leaves. The garden is a delightful pocket park in the Honor Oak area.

One runner arrived to be met by lovely volunteers Lucy and Lumen who provided a wheelbarrow and a rake to tackle the leaves. First up was by the pond then the runner moved to the area around the stage and, before you could say poor robin, a huge pile of leaves had been collected and stashed ready for mulching.

Helping at the park is a joy and the other volunteers are really friendly, so watch out for more opportunities to help out in future.
