The usual session of litter picking and Himalayan balsam removal along the Ravensbourne in Deptford's Brookmill Park. The focus as very much on the latter this week with around 50 of the invasive and bank destroying plants removed. There was more litter than last week, although the weekend rain and resultant high river levels will lead to much more being deposited. The first sighting of a kingfisher for a month or two.
