Once upon a partly cloudy, partly sunny afternoon (lunch break for some), two GoodGymmers from different areas met to accomplish a mission. What they didn't know at that point was that they had something in common. Some furniture shifting was required in the flat of Mr C who was in hospital, and needed room to fit a new bed. His cousin Elaine and her husband showed them the two pieces that needed to be moved, and they quickly went to work. A friendly plumber who was around also offered advice and lent a hand, so the job was done within minutes. It turned out that Mr C had served in the navy and had lived in Singapore, and it also turned out that the two GoodGymmers (I'm going to call them 'orang GimBagus' from now on) had lived/worked in Malaysia (which is around the corner from Singapura) around the same time. Isn't the world a village? Anyway, off went the two orang GimBagus to the local stesen keretapi (train station) to get on with their daily lives and leaving behind a very grateful Elaine who had tried all kinds of organisations, but none of them would offer to move Mr C's furniture. Then his home was ready to receive the good, but expensive katil (bed) and for him to be released from hospital. Terima kasih, GimBagus - Thank you, GoodGym. And they all lived happily ever after.
