Nick and I took advantage of the dry and sunny weather to get out during our lunch break and clean up the path between Tescos & the bridge over the railway, after we biked passed it on our way to Kingston Rec last week and noticed the amount of litter!

We found a large quantity of junk food and drink containers from the nearby McDonalds & KFC, as well as plastic bottles, candy wrappers, and the usual old bits of degraded plastic and cigarette butts. The oddest find was a lollipop style candy what made it look like you had lips and gold teeth if you put it in your mouth - despite Nick's encouragements I did NOT put it in my mouth! :D

Just one walk down the path amounted to two full bags of litter - if we had had litter pickers we could have reached some of the bits through the fences and gotten more, but unfortunately neither of us had one at hand!
