Fresh from his recent 26.2-mile stint, Will “marathon man” Yates joined forces with me to help tidy Mr. A’s garden this weekend – is there anything he can’t do?! We were welcomed by Mr. A’s loyal friend (from the age of 15!) who explained the task ahead and kindly offered tea and tools to help us get underway – so incredibly kind :-) Whilst I cut back the sneaky sycamore and irritating ivy, Will carefully untangled the whimsical wisteria from the bothersome brambles.   Will then moved on to clear the moss whilst I litter-picked and weeded, working together to uncover the path for Mr. A to follow to his flourishing chard and spinach patches. We gathered the trimmings and set them down beyond the Yew and Cherry Blossom trees ready for collection as arranged by Mr. A’s lovely friend, then set on our merry way back to Richmond. Such a worthwhile task and great way for us both to restart our mission streaks – looking forward to the next one!
