Mission

Ivy leaf in a thing called glove...

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Croydon.

In the run up to Christmas, two of GG CR0's finest brought their gardening gloves and ran from the usual run meeting place to help Mr L tidy his garden. As Magda and Ian were also signed up to the final Croydon group run of the year that evening, it suited us to take a leisurely jog to where Mr L lives. Mr L’s garden is on different levels therefore some of the flowerbeds are tricky to reach. Undeterred, Magda managed to reach them all to clear the weeds and clip rose bushes while Ian concentrated on trimming the ivy and weeding a very clumpy part of the garden.
This was a quick visit but the garden now looks much tidier than before!
