Mission

Ivy got to get to the Root of the problem.

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

I was greeted by Scott after my mile run to our rendezvous point and was instantly introduced to our task in action. Our mission which we chose to accept was to tore down all the ivy and bindweed that was covering their shared fence and on the walls of the house. We both grabbed the task and menacing weed with both hands and tore, ripped, stripped, tugged, untangled, yanked and lugged with force. We soon realised that it was twining and expanding into their lawn so we just went for it and fought the nettles, weeds and ivy off. After a few stings, sweat and no tears we managed to pull out most of the roots to this impressive ivy haven. Mr T and he's daughter in law were happy with the work and thanked us for our efforts. A big cheer to Scott though for doing he's second mission after doing he's first yesterday. Here's for many more to come and I'm sure we'll surely team up again for more missions to tackle in the near future.
