Mission

Ivy bagged an ugly bunch of buddlea

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

That was a mission and a half. Scott Jimmy made both a great conversationalist on the topic of cats and dogs (he works at a rehoming charity), and a super hard worker. Every time I turned around there was another pile of ivy to bag. Quite the chopper. He's been doing missions all over town and seems set on finishing any job he starts. Which I am pleased to say we did. 12 bags stuffed with ivy and buddlea.

The plants were encroaching on Mrs J's front door and blocking the winter sunlight, and that was worrying her neighbours. In full neighbourly spirit, the house to the left lent us tools, and the house to the right brought us a cuppa, and the house opposite thanked us for our hard work. West Norwood treated us to some peachy sunsets and we skedaddled off home to warm up.
