Despite my plans to get some work done this afternoon, I received a panicked phone call from FoodCycle towards the end of the morning, asking if they could twist my arm to take on the job of food collection again. None of their volunteers were available, and the couple of guys who had once helped out from the hotel seem to have come and gone.

My other half was busy with work, so I was on my own and Sainsbury's didn't disappoint us, as the regular produce guy arrived as I did and was soon getting their surplus food out of the cold storage area. There was a lot of food again, but due to being so busy loading it up, all I managed to photograph was this large box of mangoes. Fortunately as I struggled to load the car, my other half texted to say he was out of his meeting and could help with the second second pick up.

There was plenty of food, and we were really happy to drop it all off ready for the cooking team to create another delightful memal for the guests.
