I am glad to report Rodney and I were welcomed into Mr S’s cosy home and posed with the challenge of moving out an arm chair and large sofa bed.

We discovered the furniture predated the front door, even employing Tetris skills there was no way it was going to exit the building that way without cutting equipment. With some investigation we found a second route, moving a book case and getting a communal garden gate unlocked, we made our bid for freedom.

Along with the sofas we removed two calor gas fires and a television set. Mr S was very happy he had space to sort out his home ready for new furniture in his lounge.

Rodney and I said our farewells, dusted ourselves off and made our way into the sunshine of Victoria Park, satisfied with a job well done.
