Haringey

Mission

If you leaf me now

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Haringey.

David and I met on a surprisingly warm (for December) Sunday morning outside Mr & Mrs I's house. We were a little early, but Mr I had already spotted us and so we got to work straight away.

Their back garden was covered in leaves so David got to work on the path while I raked up leaves from the lawn. It seemed like I was raking up more grass than leaves but David assured me this was 'scarifying', and I was happy to go along with this as it sounded useful.

Without any scarifying to do, David made quick work of the path leaves and was also able to hose down the path to clear the mud and make it less slippery for Mrs I. He then had to hose down my trainers so that I didn't track mud through their lovely house.

I got to hang out with their cat before leaving so I was a very happy GoodGymer when David and I went our separate ways.
