York

Mission

I would like Al-di food please!

Today I went and did some food shopping for Ms D and her husband.

After getting a bit lost initially trying to find their flat (and a phone call to Ms D) we located each other. I was sent on my way to the local Aldi with a long specific list and some shopping bags - Ms D was a bit concerned that I was on my bike but I assured her I would manage to carry everything.

I bought everything on the list - with the total coming to £17.95, it really is amazing how much stuff you can get at Aldi for so little.

I filled my (very large) backpack with one bag and managed to balance the other on my handlebars for the short ride back to Ms D's.

She and her husband were very grateful for all the GoodGym do as she said they have no family in York to help out.

This was also my 50th good deed so yay!
