Newcastle

Mission

I was going to buy eight legs of venison for £100, but then I thought, “That’s two deer.”

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Newcastle.

Since the lockdown when everyone was told that they shouldn’t really be going outside, a lot of people who have never previously shown any interest in going outdoors are now enjoying parks, paths, streets and open spaces.

Due to the exceptionally clement weather, many men have taken to lying in their garden in swimming trunks and roaming the streets topless.

Despite these many perilous obstacles, I arrived at the correct house and was given the shopping list. Much to my mother’s disappointment, I have never been a potato eater. There were a number of tuber-based items on the list and as I was unsure of their potential weight and volume, I decided it was best to ditch my bike and do the next part of the task on foot.

I managed to get most of the items on the list and delivered them back to the house without problem. The client was very happy with my efforts and is likely to need more help with shopping over the coming months.
