Mission

I'm thorny, thorny thorny thorny!

Today Sarah and myself made it along to Ms A's house to carry on the fantastic work, started by some runners on a mission a while back, reclaiming her garden from the weeds and thorns that have completely overwhelmed it.

It was a lovely morning, and we eagerly gathered our tools and got to work. It initially seemed like an impossible challenge, but once we got creative with the tools we had we started making a lot of progress. We learnt that hoes are surprisingly effective at bringing down huge weedy-thorny masses, and I learnt not to kneel down immediately after doing so!

It was great fun, we got loads done in just over an hour, and then we had a nice chat with Ms A and showed her the pictures of what we had done. Great mission, great chat, and great time!
