Southwark

Mission

I'm so dizzy, My bed is spinning!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

This evening, Girija and I made it over from Westminster and Vauxhall - through some grim rain - to help move things so Mr H can live more comfortably.

We met his lovely niece, S, who let us in and showed us what needed moving so that Mr H's carers have space to help him out of bed with a shiny new hoist. After Mr H's carers left, we got cracking. Between Mr H's hospital bed, a table, a massive sofa, and a TV, it was a veritable Tower of Hanoi situation. Explanation here - perfect way of thinking about a lot of these tasks helping move furniture)!

Before long, we had moved everything into position, with Mr H that much more comfortable and ready to enjoy his home that bit more safely.
