As I already had Ms M’s list, and I’d done some shopping for her before, I could go straight to Sainsbury’s. I’d not been into the village since Boris’ weekend announcement so I thought I’d better take a mask with me!

Shopping done (and everything on Ms M’s list was in stock!) I cycled round to deliver it, to be greeted with ‘I’m glad it’s you because I owe you 5p’. I tried to tell her that it really didn’t matter that last time her shopping had come to £20.05, but it seems she’d been worrying about it and promptly left the additional coin by the dog statue for me today!
