A massive 25 goodgymmers braved the chilly wind to make tonight's run. Our destination was Stepney City Farm where we were split into three groups: turners, sweepers and lifters. The turners lead by the ever reliable Anna, turned one of the piles of compost, the sweepers cleared the large yard and the lifters moved a random assortment of objects ranging from a door to a bbq to clear a space for a shed. Afterwards, in a scene reminiscent of the three wise men visiting the newly born Jesus, some of us were let into the barn to see a baby goat who had been born just 24 hours earlier.

We then headed to Mile End Park to do some ladder intervals, running fast for 30 seconds then jogging back for what felt like a much shorter 30 seconds then repeating. After about 5 tiring reps though still not quite warmed up, we headed back to the Hollybush centre tired, but feeling great.
