Pun not actually true. We actually do want shrubs. But sometimes you have to sacrifice truth for a quality pun.

Today's group run was a starter session, taking in the sights and sound of Penge on the way to meet the Friends of Cator Park to work on a flower bed.

Sophia, Georgina, Sami and I met at the Bridge House. It was Sophia and Georgina's first time at a GoodGym thing - thanks for joining! πŸ₯³

We had a 2k jog, mostly downhill to the park which everyone smashed and there we met Millie from the friends' group as well as Linda and another new GoodGym face - Claire! πŸŽ‰

Our task was based around one flower bed which was looking a little weedy and messy:

🌱 First we removed the weeds and grass that was growing there

πŸ”ͺ Meanwhile we edged around the bed to give it a clear border

πŸͺ΅ And to finish off we shifted some mulch from a big pile and spread it around the shrubs to stop any weeds growing through

Everyone got their hands dirty and after 45 minutes the bed was looking way better. A bit of GoodGym muscle helps save a lot of time! πŸ’ͺ

Nice one team!
