Lambeth

Mission

I don’t know what to do with my shelf!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Dom and Helen journeyed from Somerset House by foot and bike respectively to Mrs J’s house. We were warmly welcome by Dave.

He took us through to a rather purple, partially renovated room that needed much sorting. After plenty of discussion and working out the Tetris plans for the room we got stuck in. Moving 2 large wardrobes, thankfully on wheels(!), recycling old clothes, clearing out the rubbish, stacking any paperwork and old photos on the shelves. The result - a nice clean spot for a hospital bed and chair to be moved in.

Successful job done having adopted Dave to join in and help. Mrs J and Dave both excited for her to be back in the comfort of her own home after a long 5 weeks away. The first of many more missions, especially if they end in a cheeky visit to the pub ;)
