Firstly, I thought of a pun instead of just calling it ‘Wildcat’ like I usually do.
What I actually did was step in the night before to help the Wildcat Wilderness at their wreath making day. These public events are a good way to support the charity but we were a little short of volunteers when one of the regular helpers got stuck on holiday (what a hardship!).
I helped with collecting branches of fir and then was on gate duty as people arrived.
After an hour I carried on with my long run, which was a good way to warm up again on a cold day!
