North London was once again buzzing with the football hordes, I'm not sure if that's why my train didn't run, but that's who I'm blaming. I jumped back on my bike and through the Arsenal swarms, to reach the West Ham crowds a few miles further east. Considering we were missing both GGN power-couples to different Canary Island holidays, the clan still showed up with decent fire-power. Gualtiero's first session, a local to Sugar House Island, a trail runner and now a painting virgin no more! Great to have you with the clan dude, hope you had a decent first session.
We discussed "what's bad on the outside but good on the inside?" Run-down cafes and grim looking bars that are gems inside. Durian Fruit, apparently a bit of a stinker, but lush fleshy fruit inside. This week's winner has got to be... Stratford.
Hils met us at Bygrove, after a small wait - where I wondered if they remembered we're coming - we got buzzed in by the Headteacher, Fiona. We assessed the previous job and dived straight into it. There seemed to be a method of sorts that organically formed, a couple of folks on each section, painting an alternating three posts a 'different' hue of green. I think it worked for the most part, besides when I had a small breakdown in the middle and lost all faith in the concept of colours, do they even exist? As the pictures show we got a decent amount done, perhaps we lock in a next session soon so we can get another coat on those posts.
Next week we head to Abbey Gardens to help deconstruct a massive compost box, I expect simple heavy-lifting and hard-work on this session - sign up here and get stuck in.
Till next week,
B
