Lewisham

Mission

How many GoodGymmers does it take to change a lightbulb?

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

In theory just one, but unfortunately it wasn't to be this time. I nipped out in a rather grey and rainy lunch break to help Ms D, believing that this would be a fairly straightforward task. I thought that changing a fluorescent tube would be light work; watt could go wrong? Sadly the fluorescent tube had been damaged in transit and the light fitting was broken and also needed replacing. Ms D agreed that this was a job for an electrician and I told her I'd report this back. We had a little chat and Ms D thanked me for coming out in the rain and trying anyway.
