How do you like them (rotten) apples

Fresh from parkrun and a community mission on Acomb Green, the three of us ran across to Mr J via the maze that is Hob Moor, we even managed to find a new exit from the moor that none of us had ever seen.

Mr J had prepared all the tools for us, they were very neatly laid out on the lawn. His borders hadn't been weeded for a long while and he wanted us to get rid of as much as we could.

One of the borders was totally overwhelmed with spring onions, more spring onions than anyone would ever need and whilst the lawn was scattered with fallen and rotten apples.

We dug up as many weeds as we could. Tim regretted not bringing gloves as he kept accidentally grabbing spiky stuff and was determined to cut long strands of brambles and try to shove them into one of two green bins.

With both green bins totally full, our work was done!
