How do you like them apples!

On a cold Friday evening, I went to Mrs J to help in her garden. On paper I was told I needed to pick apples from the grass. Sounds like an easy task right. Well there were hundreds, if not at least a thousand, of apples on the ground. There were so many I had to keep going back to the shed for extra buckets!

Unfortunately many were rotten so couldn't be eaten. A shame as my baking kit for this month is Toffee Apple dip!

Regardless I got stuck in and picked as many apples I could see. After an hour or so it got so dark I needed my headtorch to see the apples. I eventually picked up all the apples I saw, gave the grass a quick rake (exposing at least 20 more apples!) then bid farewell.

Cycling home I noticed I smelt of cider. This would be alright, but I hate cider xD
