Hot in the City …. Harvest

Tuesday evening shift at food redistribution charity City Harvest in Acton Park. With heat wave temperatures and being somewhat ‘tired and irritable’ on arrival, it was great to spend the first part of my shift in the chiller crating vegetables. The evening Amazon delivery failed to arrive (the lorry had broken down in the heat) so instead I spent the second part of the shift crating milk and yoghurts which was really all my heat-addled brain could cope with.
