Horses for Courses

The morning started with everyone scurrying around trying to find parking as the racecourse's car park got filled up pretty quickly and everywhere else around with racecourse was for permit holders only!

We finally got going at around 9.05 and around 400metres in were instantly faced with our first hill - everyone hoping this wasn't an omen for the rest of the course.

Today was Rauul's 12th Half Marathon in 2020 so he decided to test out his new trainers which unfortunately resulted in him getting blisters. Nevertheless he still managed to make it across the line in just over 2 hours 30mins.

After the race we both walked back to our cars hoping we hadn't got parking tickets, luckily for us the stewards had decided to take a day off!
