On a rainy morning a group from Anfield, some local charities and the police, as well as the amazing James Coates from Alley Angels all turned up to help make the Blessington Road Gardens that little bit more special. The weather was against us but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm as wooden benches arrived and were installed, a beautiful painting was unveiled, which is going to grace the garden. Tea and cake were consumed after a litter pick took place. It is amazing to see what can be done in a deprived area when the community gets together and starts to make a difference. A great project to be able to help out with.
