Tell me, tell me, my Goodgym fellows How was tonight's 6 k all 15 of thee? An Autumn evening, soft and mild, A task that sighs and hedge that crys

off to Newbridge court we go,to remove some shrubs at a sheltered home.

First though we have someone new

WELCOME EVIE AND DANIEL

joining us for their first Goodgym run Hope they come back after this task, I mean it's not too much to ask.

Tell me what is the present hour?

A green and flowery spray, No a few shrubs and weeds to get away, Some forks and spades to help us along, 30 minutes to work so can't dawdle along

Digging and sweating to get this done, This shrub is certainly a stubborn one,

what is the future, Goodgym run

To create a run and a task to get done, A clear space beneath a cloudless sun, To plant some more suitable ones

Debbie our host now happy it's done, Oscar so pleased he's a hospitable one, Aperol spritz an Italian one

The inspiring chatter a thrilling sound, The glory of a physical evening, The glittering splendour rising round, Have passed like all earth's joys away.

With healthy bodies and healthy minds, We made new friends whilst digging away Benefitting people's lives on our way

Alas, we fear it's time to go

making our way through now darkening streets Forsaken by that lady fair ( that'll be me)

We glide unheeding through them all; Covering their brows to hide the sweat Staying together and keeping safe

With scurrying feet to the leisure centre, To stretch our gluteus and other limbs That murmur to the breezes' call

The night-wind's Pun was a witty one Thanks to DANIEL on his first pun My he is a speedy one

SAM ARRIVED QUITE LATE, LOST WITHOUT HIS MATE
