After a morning of preparing food for the Greenwich Pop Up Kitchen, Gareth and I ran down from Blackheath to Deptford to help Ms K with her garden. We arrived early but that was no problem and Ms K showed us through to the back garden, which she had been unable to tend to due to ill health. Ms K had plenty of equipment for us to use, so I mowed the lawn whilst Gareth got to work on the hedges. He made light work of cutting back the overgrown branches, despite the family of wasps that had been hiding in the bushes.!We also managed to tackle some pretty sticky stinging nettles and filled 8 bags with cuttings by the end of the hour. Another successful mission accomplished!
