200 youngsters ran, jogged, walked 2K the #211 Eaton Junior Parkrun on a lovely sunny Fathers Day. Emily and Elizabeth volunteered today, Emily was tail walker and I was at Marshal point 5. Two Goodgymers ran with their boys today, Fletcher was on his first parkrun, Jack on his 3rd well done. Volunteering at Junior Parkrun is a worthwhile, exciting and awe inspiring way to spend an hour on a Sunday morning. The children do really enjoy it, although sometimes there are long faces “I can’t do it” moments, when you encourage them, high five them, they perk up and their faces as they finish, usually with a fantastic sprint is wonderful. Do give it a try. Sign up on the Parkrun web site then on our Goodgym site.
