Hanging On The Telephone

M’s health means it is sometimes a bit hit and miss as to whether she feels well enough for a visit. Today was one of those days when she didn’t.

We are comfortable enough in each others company for that not to matter too much and we chatted for ages on the phone, as long as it would have been had I gone round.
