Here's what Mrs P of NR17 had to say about the mission:

It went very well. Thank you and the girls!

Mrs P of NR17, mission beneficiary

After confirming with Mrs P that we could arrive a little early for this mission, as we all had busy days ahead, I met up with Catherine at her house and we ran round the corner to pick up Michelle. We had a fairly easy (fairly flat) 5k run to Mrs P's, soundtracked by Michelle's stories about her night out (in case anyone is wondering, she ordered only one pizza from Dominos by accident) but she was on form given her lack of sleep and quantities of alcohol. Drink Responsibly! We arrived at Mrs P's house just before 10am but unfortunately she was still asleep so we got started anyway. Mrs P's garden is very small and just needed a tidy up since we were there last so it was just a quick job of pulling up some dandelions, tidying and picking up dead leaves. We were done quite quickly as a result, but there was still no sign of Mrs P, so we left quietly without disturbing her. I am sure she woke up later, opened her blinds, and was very pleased with her tidy garden! After our hard work, Michelle ran back home (trooper) and Catherine and I walked into Norwich to meet the family for a Sunday brunch before our second mission of the day. Yes, our second- not all heroes wear capes. Some wear GoodGym t-shirts. Fuelled by some delicious food, we set off to the forum to meet Pure Clean Earth and other members of our GoodGym family for a Norwich litter pick. This is all covered in Mary's fab mission report. Then, because two missions (one of them being very rainy) is not enough action for one day, we decided to go and watch the Norwich duck race. We got ourselves a prime spot close to the finish line, watched them come round the corner, got very excited to watch them finish... and the rain finally beat us and we sloped home, with a bit of an anti-climax. Thankfully our mission was more successful than our duck race experience.
