Three GoodGymmers spent a sunny Saturday morning at The Portico Gallery in West Norwood, making seats for use during their summer events programme. This basically involved stuffing bales of hay into black duffle bags, which is harder than you might think – after a couple of attempts, we settled on a technique that mostly worked pretty well – pull the bag over the first half, flip it over for the next bit, and finish with a good kick. We then punched some holes in the bags so we could seal them with cable ties. Tada, seating sorted!

Additional entertainment was provided by Chico the chihuahua, chasing around a thoroughly uninterested Methuselah the cat, who was much more interested in lying around looking regal. We also got to feed the fish and drink quite a few cups of tea – all in all a pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning.
