Three GG Yorkies set off in the pouring rain to clear rubbish as part of the Big Spring Clean initiative.

We also had a little chat to roving reporter Louise, from BBC Radio York and did special 'picking up cans' sound effects for the radio.

Finds of the day were a whole sack of charity collection bags and part of a sawn-off toilet seat, someone in York must be having a very uncomfortable toilet experience.

We were absolutely drenched but filled up three of the green bags that the council is supplying this weekend for all volunteers that are involved.
